As for the Great Strides walk itself, we had yet another beautiful day, but, boy, was it hot! I was so thrilled to see all the additional supporters for other teams come out this year for Great Strides. It was definitely our largest crowd ever. Although our Team Lilly numbers were thinned this year due to a busy Saturday, I still think Team Lilly was one of the largest teams to walk and of course, we are the loudest and are very noticeable in our bright pink! I can't close this blog without thanking so many people for their hard work and support, especially: my cousin Trey Cranfill for his design skills (the t-shirts looked fabulous) and Uncle Bob and Aunt Windy for their tailgating supplies and help with the t-shirts, the Minors for their delicious ham biscuits, Ellen Underwood and Laura Jarboe for helping me with food and coffee, Julie George for bringing the Krispy Kreme donuts for a third year in a row, Barb and Jerry for the wonderful monkey bread and pecan tassies, and all those that came out to walk with us and donated to our cause! Here are some pictures - hope you enjoy them!
A yummy brunch!

Ashley and Travis came all the way from Louisville to support us!
All this so this beautiful little girl has a chance for a long and happy life!
Such sweet supporters...
Cooling off after the walk!
Finally, Jeremy and I are also on the committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Seafood Splash and Spirit Bash scheduled for August 25, 2012 at Rossi's in Lexington. We hope you will consider joining us - it is such a fun night of great seafood, an open bar, music, and silent and premier auctions. Tickets are $75/person and corporate sponsorships are available. The Cranfill, Neikirk, and Lankster crew come out in full force, so you know it will be a good time. If interested, email me or call me and I will get you tickets!
