Uncle Chris dressed up as the Joker (the Heath Ledger version from the new Batman flick), and Olivia was NOT so sure about it. He definitely scared her when he first walked in the house, but I think she eventually realized that her Uncle Chris was under all that makeup. She refused to go to him though - she would smile from a distance but if we got too close, she would just bury her head in my neck. Thank goodness she is too young to have too much of an imagination or she may have been up all night with nightmares!

Not So Sure About Clowns

This was actually probably a good experience for her to be exposed to a "clown" of sorts...it will teach her that clowns are inherently evil and can't be trusted.... but then again, it may make her afraid of nurses too...especially nurses that wear a lot of makeup...yikes...
