I couldn't leave my past post as it stands - after I posted I thought, "how depressing." So I leave tonight with a funny story. Lilly gave me her first smile on my birthday! It was beautiful and the BEST birthday present (alongside my "#1 Mommy" sticker). But as with all first smiles, the second and third have been somewhat elusive. I was trying to get her to smile at me two nights ago. I was talking baby talk to her and asking her to "give Mommy a smile." I didn't realize that the "sponge" (aka Olivia) was listening until she poked her head between me and Lilly and said, "Mommy, I will give you a smile!" I love my beautiful little girls!
